2. What Data We Collect

We collect personal data only when you actively provide it to us:

  • Contact form: your name, email address and message.
  • Job applications: your name, email address, the position applied for and the resume/CV file you upload.
  • Server logs: our hosting infrastructure automatically records technical information such as IP address, browser type, date and time of access, and the pages requested. This is required to operate and secure the website.
  • Visit statistics: we record aggregate page-visit counts on our own server. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

We process your data to respond to your enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR), to process job applications (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, § 26 BDSG), and to operate this website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies (for example a session cookie and a security token) which are required for the site to function. No tracking or advertising cookies are set.

5. Embedded Third-Party Content

Our contact pages embed maps from Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When a page containing a map loads, your browser connects to Google servers and your IP address is transmitted to Google. Details: Google Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention

Contact enquiries are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. Application documents are deleted no later than six months after the hiring process concludes, unless you consent to longer retention or statutory obligations require it.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; for Hamburg this is the Hamburgischer Beauftragter für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
